IRDO Conference 2026

The 21st IRDO International Conference took place on June 16–17, 2026, held both on-site in Maribor (Slovenia) and online. Themed "Sustainability Management in Organisations," it focused on sustainable entrepreneurship, AI in governance, and ESRS/ESG reporting.The IRDO (Institute for the Development of Social Responsibility) conference is hosted annually alongside local partners, including the University of Maribor and the Slovenian Society for Systems Research.Key highlights and takeaways for the 2026 event included:Main Focus: Integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, digital transformation, and inter-generational collaboration into daily corporate practices.Participation: It gathered experts, academics, and students globally.Publications & Proceedings: Accepted short papers (2,500–4,000 words) from authors were published in electronic collections and book formats.Aside from the annual conference, IRDO offers year-round professional certification programs (Levels I–III) on social responsibility, sustainability management, and ESG/ESRS reporting.
